This handbook provides information to plan an energy-management strategy to make your building more energy efficient. Airport Earns Cash for Energy Savings

Barnstable Municipal Airport has been awarded $60,570 in incentive funds from Cape Light Compact for making its new Hyannis passenger terminal and air traffic control tower highly energy efficient. Cape Light Compact subscribes to the Advanced Buildings Core Performance Program, developed and managed by New Buildings Institute. Read article

GT50 & Beyond database

NBI has added new buildings to the GT50 (Getting to 50) & Beyond database. There are now 134 total case studies, 76 of which with measured performance in this database. Projects here have or predict performance that is 30% above the CBECS average with some buildings meeting or exceeding a level of 50 percent better than code requirement for energy use.
